Jeel al Amal
To all friends of Jeel al Amal
The board takes on things energetically. There are plans to expand the school, so that even secondary education can be provided.
The board of Jeel al Amal wants a fourth floor on top of the building of the school. There will be four rooms for activities that now take place elsewhere in the building. It will comprise a lab for computer classes and a music room. Besides that a the room that can be used for multiple purposes and various activities. Finally a meeting room or conference room. This is the place for board meetings and the General Assembly. It will also be used to give information over and to discuss about Jeel al Amal and will be fitted with modern presentation tools such as a beamer.

Then there will be sufficient classrooms free to offer secondary education. It will have a significant positive impact on the quality of education, and will improve the daily life of our children.
The board has done a preliminary study on the costs of the project. The first estimates are approximately 733,850 New Israeli Shekels, or €138,123. For the original letter, which is intended to raise funds from large institutions, click here.
So far Jeel al Amal is an elementary school. Right from the start of Jeel al Amal in 1972 it has always been the intention that the children could follow up their first years with secondary education at the Jeel al Amal school.
If Jeel al Amal will become a secondary school, then another dream has come true. This is beneficial for the children. They can continue at Jeel al Amal until they are sixteenth years old.
We will keep you posted.
