To all friends of Jeel al Amal

 1976
* The Sahhar Family has been living in Bethany for four years now. Between Alice and Basil you can see George and Najwa. In the front the twins: Samir looks at the photographer, and Hanna looks - with the others - at the first design of the dreamed new buildings for Jeel al Amal. Samar and Laila are not in the picture.


1984
* The boys move to the new home with accommodation for 100 boys.

1987
* The new school building for 350 girls and boys is opened.
* Oktober 16th: Basil deceased.
2008
* October 2th: Alice deceased.
* October 27th: Najwa did send to the following e-mail: “Samir is now busy to make a new model for the organization of Jeel al Amal. He will also set right all financial matters. I do the PR and fundraising, as I did before with my mother. As always I keep you informed. Najwa”
The children of Alice and Basil feel themselves heiresses of the work of their parents’ hands. They continue to keep going Jeel al Amal.
